Architecture for Community Impact
With offices in Amesbury, MA, and Keene, NH, we know about small-city life. Our practice grew out of the need for better listening and better understanding of what non-urban communities need their buildings to do and be.
We start by listening
Our motto is Listen first. Design second. It’s in the space where we listen to our clients’ needs that we really begin to understand what their project can be. We work closely with our clients to turn conversations, constraints, and community goals into buildings that feel right, function well, and last.
And then we guide
Building projects often have many stakeholders with many opinions. Two-thirds of our job is to design and execute a process that brings the right people together, elicits actionable insights, and builds consensus, no matter how diverse the initial opinions are.
Who we work with
Whether your need is a civic building, a commercial space, or a custom home,
rest assured that our work will be grounded in collaboration and clarity.
